Szekler National Council

The Szekler National Council is a civic organization advocating for the rights and interests of the Szekler community, an ethnic Hungarian group in Romania's Székely Land. It seeks greater cultural recognition, administrative autonomy, and political representation within Romania. The council promotes the preservation of Szekler traditions, language, and identity while engaging in dialogue with authorities.
