Synovitis

Synovitis is the inflammation of the synovial membrane, which lines the joints and produces synovial fluid to lubricate them. This condition can occur in various types of arthritis or as a result of injury. Symptoms may include joint swelling, pain, and stiffness, making movement difficult. Treatment often involves rest, ice, anti-inflammatory medications, and sometimes physical therapy or injections to reduce inflammation. If persistent, it may require further evaluation by a healthcare professional to address any underlying causes.
