Symptoms of Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a condition characterized by widespread muscle pain and tenderness, often accompanied by fatigue, sleep disturbances, and difficulty concentrating, known as "fibro fog." People may experience aches, stiffness, and a burning sensation in muscles, along with headaches, tingling or numbness in extremities, and heightened sensitivity to light, sound, or touch. Symptoms can fluctuate in intensity and may be triggered by stress, weather changes, or physical activity. While the exact cause is unknown, fibromyalgia affects the nervous system's way of processing pain signals, leading to ongoing discomfort and exhaustion.
