Surgical Resident Training

Surgical resident training is a specialized phase of education after medical school where doctors learn to perform surgery by working closely with experienced surgeons. Over several years, residents gain hands-on experience in diagnosing, planning, and executing various surgical procedures while progressively taking on more responsibility. They also attend lectures and training sessions to deepen their medical knowledge. This supervised practice ensures they develop the skills, judgment, and confidence needed to safely perform surgeries independently, ultimately preparing them for independent surgical practice as fully qualified surgeons.
