surfboards
A surfboard is a specially designed board used for riding ocean waves. Made typically from foam, fiberglass, or wood, it provides a buoyant platform that allows a person to stay afloat and move along the wave's surface. Surfboards vary in shape, size, and contour to suit different wave conditions and skill levels, such as shortboards for quick maneuvers or longboards for stability. To surf, a rider paddles out to the wave, then uses the board to catch and ride the wave toward the shore, harnessing the energy of the wave for sport and recreation.
