Supramassive Black Hole

A supramassive black hole is a type of black hole that has a mass exceeding the maximum limit where a neutron star can remain stable; it is too heavy to be supported by neutron degeneracy pressure but is temporarily held together by rapid rotation. This rotation provides extra stability, preventing collapse into a more typical black hole. Over time, as it loses angular momentum, it can eventually collapse into a more stable, supermassive black hole. These objects are believed to be important in understanding galaxy evolution and the extreme physics of dense matter.
