Superposition

Superposition is a principle in physics stating that a system can exist in multiple states simultaneously until measured or observed. In quantum mechanics, particles like electrons can be in several positions or states at once, representing a combination or "superposition" of all possibilities. When we observe or measure the particle, it "collapses" into a specific state. This concept explains phenomena like quantum interference and is fundamental to developing technologies like quantum computers, where superposition allows processing multiple possibilities simultaneously for increased computational power.
