Supercharging

Supercharging refers to boosting an engine’s power output by forcing more air, and sometimes fuel, into the combustion chamber. This is achieved using a device called a supercharger, typically driven by the engine’s own crankshaft. By increasing the amount of air and fuel mixture, the engine can produce more power without significantly increasing its size. Supercharging enhances performance, acceleration, and throttle response, making vehicles faster and more responsive. It’s a common technique in high-performance vehicles and racing, providing a quick and effective way to significantly increase engine power.
