Supercharger

A supercharger is a device that boosts an internal combustion engine's power by forcing more air into the engine's cylinders. This increased airflow allows the engine to burn more fuel efficiently, resulting in greater horsepower and acceleration. Unlike turbochargers, which use exhaust gases to spin a turbine, superchargers are mechanically driven directly by the engine — usually via a belt connected to the crankshaft. This setup provides immediate power response, improving engine performance, especially at lower RPMs, making vehicles faster and more responsive without requiring significant modifications.
