Super-G

Super-G, short for Super Giant Slalom, is a fast-paced alpine ski racing event that combines elements of downhill and giant slalom. Skiers race down a marked course with widely spaced gates, requiring quick turns and high speeds. Unlike downhill, it has more turns, and unlike giant slalom, it emphasizes speed and agility. Super-G is timed, and the fastest skier to complete the course wins. It tests a skier’s technical skill, control, and courage, making it thrilling to watch and challenging to master.
