Summer Triangle
The Summer Triangle is a prominent asterism formed by three bright stars: Vega, Deneb, and Altair. These stars are located in three different constellations—Lyra, Cygnus, and Aquila, respectively—and are easily visible in the northern summer night sky. When the sky is clear, the three stars appear to form a large, roughly equilateral shape, serving as a helpful guide to locate other celestial objects in the summer sky. The Summer Triangle's prominence and brightness make it a useful reference point for stargazing and navigating the night sky during the warmer months.
