
Sultan Iltutmish
Sultan Iltutmish was a key ruler of the Delhi Sultanate in India during the 13th century. He was originally a slave who rose to power and became the Sultan of Delhi, helping to establish and strengthen Muslim rule in northern India. Known for his administrative skills, he organized the government, expanded territory, and secured his dynasty’s stability. Iltutmish is also credited with introducing important policies, such as coinage reforms, and founding Delhi’s Qutb Minar, a famous architectural monument. His leadership laid the groundwork for future Muslim dynasties in India.
