Sughdian inscriptions

Sughdian inscriptions are ancient writings from the Sughd region, located in modern northern Tajikistan, dating back to the Achaemenid and Sogdian periods (roughly 6th century BCE to 8th century CE). These inscriptions, found on monuments, pottery, and seals, are written in the Sogdian language using an early alphabet.
