Sufi Orders (Tariqas)
Sufi orders, or Tariqas, are spiritual paths within Islam that guide followers in attaining divine closeness and inner purification. Each order has specific practices, rituals, and teachings rooted in the teachings of a founding master. These communities emphasize love, devotion, meditation, and ethical discipline to deepen one’s understanding of God. While diverse in methods, all aim to cultivate inner spiritual growth and unity with the divine. Sufi orders often function as both spiritual communities and social networks, fostering personal transformation and communal harmony through shared practices and spiritual mentorship.
