Suffragette militants
Suffragette militants were activists advocating for women’s right to vote in the early 20th century, particularly in the UK. Frustrated with slow progress through peaceful protests, some adopted more confrontational tactics, such as vandalism, arson, and demonstrations aimed at gaining public and government attention. While largely advocating for nonviolent change, their militant actions highlighted the urgency of women's enfranchisement and challenged societal norms, ultimately helping to accelerate social and political reforms.
