Subsidiaries

A subsidiary is a company that is owned or controlled by another company, known as the parent company. The parent holds a significant enough stake—usually more than 50%—to influence or determine the subsidiary’s major decisions. Subsidiaries operate as separate legal entities but are ultimately overseen by their parent. This structure allows the parent company to expand its business, manage different operations, or enter new markets while maintaining oversight and control over its subsidiaries.
