Subjectivity of time

Subjectivity of time refers to how our perception of time can vary based on our experiences, emotions, and mental state. For example, moments of enjoyment may seem to pass quickly, while periods of waiting or discomfort often feel longer. This is because our brain processes and interprets time differently depending on context, attention, and mood. Importantly, the objective measurement of time—the ticking of a clock—remains constant, but our personal experience of it is flexible and influenced by internal factors. Essentially, how we perceive time is shaped by our individual consciousness, making time a subjective experience.
