Style Loss

Style Loss is a measure used in neural style transfer to compare the visual "feel" or overall pattern of an image, rather than its exact content. It analyzes the textures, colors, and patterns by examining the relationships among different features in an image’s deep layers. When generating or modifying an image, minimizing style loss helps ensure the output resembles the overall artistic style—such as brush strokes or color palettes—of a reference style image, while preserving the main content. Essentially, it guides the AI to capture the essence of an art style without replicating specific details.
