student-run organizations
Student-run organizations are groups led and managed by students within a school or university. They operate independently to organize events, support causes, or provide services relevant to their members’ interests. These organizations promote leadership, teamwork, and real-world skills by giving students the opportunity to plan activities, manage budgets, and collaborate with peers. While supported by the institution, they function with a degree of autonomy, allowing students to develop organizational and professional skills in a practical setting. Examples include clubs, academic societies, volunteer groups, and cultural organizations.
