Structuration Theory (Giddens)
Structuration Theory, developed by Anthony Giddens, explains how social structures and human actions influence each other. It suggests that our behaviors are guided by rules and resources within society, but these structures are also created and changed through our daily interactions. In essence, society shapes individuals, and individuals, through their actions, reshape society. This ongoing cycle means that change is possible because people are both products and producers of social systems, making social life dynamic and self-sustaining.
