Stroke (ischaemic, hemorrhagic)
A stroke occurs when blood flow to a part of the brain is interrupted, causing brain cells to die. There are two main types: ischemic and hemorrhagic. An ischemic stroke happens when a blood clot blocks an artery, reducing blood supply. A hemorrhagic stroke occurs when a blood vessel in the brain ruptures, leading to bleeding in the brain tissue. Both types can cause sudden neurological symptoms like weakness, speech difficulties, or vision problems, and require immediate medical attention to minimize brain damage and improve recovery chances.
