Strange Quarks

Strange quarks are fundamental particles that make up some of the smallest building blocks of matter. They are one of six types (called "flavors") of quarks, which combine to form particles like protons, neutrons, and other subatomic particles. Strange quarks have a higher mass than up and down quarks, and they exhibit unique properties such as "strangeness" quantum number, which affects how particles decay and interact.
