Strain Imaging
Strain imaging is a special ultrasound technique used to assess how the heart's muscles deform and stretch during each beat. It measures the amount of movement and deformation of heart tissue, providing insight into the heart's function that isn’t visible with regular ultrasound. By analyzing this deformation, doctors can detect subtle signs of heart disease, identify which parts of the heart are working better or worse, and monitor treatment progress. It helps provide a more detailed picture of heart health, enabling earlier and more accurate diagnosis and management of cardiac conditions.
