Stockholders

Stockholders, also known as shareholders, are individuals or institutions that own shares of a company's stock. Having these shares makes them part-owners of the company, giving them a stake in its success. They may benefit from profit sharing through dividends and can potentially see the value of their shares grow if the company's stock price rises. Stockholders have voting rights on certain company decisions, such as electing the board of directors. Essentially, they invest money into a company with the hope that it will perform well and increase in value, aligning their interests with the company's growth and profitability.
