Stick Welding

Stick welding, also known as shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), is a process that joins metal pieces by melting them together using an electric current. An electrode rod coated with a flux material is used; as it contacts the workpiece and the current flows, the electrode melts, creating a weld pool that fuses the metals. The flux coating produces a protective gas and slag that shield the weld from contamination, ensuring a strong, durable bond. This method is widely used due to its versatility, portability, and suitability for a variety of metals and environments.
