Steindler's Test
Steindler's test is a physical examination used by healthcare providers to evaluate forearm muscle strength and elbow stability. During the test, the patient sits with their shoulder flexed at 90 degrees and the elbow extended. They then make a fist and flex their wrist while the examiner resists this movement. This helps assess the function of muscles in the forearm and is often used to diagnose or evaluate conditions affecting the elbow, particularly the flexor muscles and associated tendons, providing insight into muscular and joint health.
