Static CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) is a technology used to build digital circuits like computer processors. It uses two types of transistors—p-type and n-type—that work together to control electrical signals. When switching between on and off states, static CMOS consumes power only during the transition, not when the circuit is stable. This makes it energy-efficient and reliable for long-term operation.
