State Planning Organisation (Turkey)

The State Planning Organisation (Turkey) was a government agency responsible for designing and coordinating Turkey’s economic development plans. It analyzed economic data, set national priorities, and allocated resources to achieve growth, stability, and social welfare goals. The organization worked to ensure that different sectors of the economy developed in a balanced manner, supporting government policies through strategic planning. Although it was disbanded in 2008, its functions largely transitioned to other institutions within Turkey’s broader economic and planning framework.
