State Partnership Program
The State Partnership Program (SPP) is a partnership between U.S. states and foreign countries, where they collaborate to build mutual security, support military and civilian efforts, and share expertise. Through this program, military units, government officials, and civilians from a U.S. state work with their counterparts abroad to improve defense capabilities, foster mutual understanding, and strengthen diplomatic relationships. It’s a way to promote stability, security, and cooperation internationally, leveraging existing state-level resources and connections to achieve common goals in a respectful and strategic manner.
