State of Qi

The State of Qi was an ancient Chinese kingdom that existed from around 1046 to 221 BCE. It was one of several powerful states during the Hundred Schools of Thought period, known for its strong military, wealthy economy, and cultural development. Located in what is now eastern China, Qi played a significant role in shaping Chinese history, politics, and philosophy. Its leaders promoted innovation and stability, influencing broader Chinese civilization. The state ultimately fell when Qin, the state of Qin, unified China in 221 BCE, ending the Warring States period.
