State of Han

The State of Han was a small, ancient Chinese kingdom during the Warring States period (475–221 BCE). It was one of several competing states vying for power before China unified under the Qin Dynasty. Located in what is now central China, Han was often overshadowed by larger rivals like Qin and Chu. Despite its smaller size, Han played a role in the complex diplomacy and military conflicts of the era. Its history reflects the turbulent period of fragmentation and the eventual shift toward centralized imperial rule that shaped China's development.
