starter motor

A starter motor is an electric device that helps begin the engine's operation. When you turn the key or press the start button, the starter motor engages and spins the engine’s flywheel, initiating the combustion process. It provides the initial power needed for the engine to run on its own. Once the engine starts, the starter motor disengages. Essentially, it acts as a push-start mechanism by converting electrical energy from the battery into mechanical energy to get the engine moving.
