Starship SN1

Starship SN1 was SpaceX's prototype for their next-generation spacecraft designed to carry humans and cargo to destinations like Mars. It was a test vehicle built from stainless steel, intended to demonstrate key features such as its ability to withstand atmospheric reentry and operate as a fully reusable rocket. The SN1 test focused on evaluating the vehicle's structural integrity during pressure testing. Unfortunately, during testing in 2020, SN1 suffered a failure that led to its destruction. These tests are crucial steps in developing reliable, large-scale space transportation, helping refine the design for future launches.
