Starfish
Starfish, also known as sea stars, are marine animals belonging to the echinoderm group. They typically have a radial symmetry with five or more arms extending from a central disc. Starfish move slowly using hundreds of tiny, tube-like feet located on the underside of their arms, which are powered by a hydraulic system. They are predators or scavengers, primarily feeding on mollusks like clams and oysters by prying them open with their arms and pushing their stomachs into the prey. Starfish play a vital role in marine ecosystems by maintaining the balance of invertebrate populations.
