Stanford Question Answering Dataset
The Stanford Question Answering Dataset (SQuAD) is a collection of over 100,000 questions and corresponding passages from Wikipedia. Its purpose is to train and evaluate AI systems’ ability to understand and find precise answers within a text. When given a passage and a question, a computer model learns to locate the exact sentence or phrase that answers the question. SQuAD helps improve natural language understanding in machines, enabling better comprehension tools for applications like virtual assistants, search engines, and educational software.
