Stall Recovery Procedures
Stall recovery involves actions taken when an aircraft’s wing loses enough lift to keep it flying, often due to too high an angle of attack. To recover, pilots gently reduce the nose attitude (pulling the control stick slightly forward) to decrease the angle of attack. They then apply power if possible to regain airspeed and lift. Finally, they level the wings to stabilize the aircraft. Prompt and smooth actions are essential to prevent a spin or loss of control, returning the aircraft safely to normal flight.
