Stahlhelm
The Stahlhelm was a German veterans' organization founded after World War I, initially composed of former soldiers who aimed to honor military service and promote national pride. It became influential in the 1920s and 1930s, advocating for militarism and adopting nationalist views. Over time, it was associated with right-wing political movements and, eventually, Nazi sympathizers, helping to shape pre-World War II German nationalism. The name "Stahlhelm" means "Steel Helmet," referring to the iconic military headgear they often used as a symbol. The organization was dissolved after World War II due to its associations with extremism.
