Stages 0-IV
Cancer staging from 0 to IV describes how far the cancer has spread in the body. Stage 0 is very early, confined to the original site, often with a low risk of spread. Stage I indicates a small tumor limited to its original location. Stage II and III suggest larger tumors or spread to nearby lymph nodes but not distant organs. Stage IV means the cancer has spread to distant parts of the body, called metastasis. This staging helps doctors determine the most appropriate treatment and prognosis.
