Stabilators

Stabilators are adjustable horizontal tail surfaces on an aircraft that combine the functions of both horizontal stabilizers and elevators. Unlike traditional separate control surfaces, stabilators can move as a single unit to help control the aircraft's pitch (tilting up or down). They automatically adjust to maintain stability and can also be moved manually by the pilot to change the aircraft's attitude. Stabilators provide smoother, more efficient pitch control, especially in high-performance or supersonic aircraft, enhancing maneuverability and stability during flight.
