St. Willibrord

St. Willibrord was a Christian missionary and the patron saint of the Netherlands, born around 658 AD. He dedicated his life to spreading Christianity in northern Europe, especially in the Low Countries. Known for his piety and dedication, Willibrord traveled extensively, establishing churches and converting local tribes. He became the first bishop of Utrecht and was instrumental in Christianizing the region. Recognized for his leadership and spiritual influence, he is remembered as a key figure in early European Christian history.
