St. Vincent Ferrer

St. Vincent Ferrer (1350-1419) was a Spanish Dominican friar and priest known for his preaching and missionary work across Europe. He is recognized for his powerful sermons urging people to repent and return to their faith during a time of great turmoil, including the Black Death and the Western Schism, when the Church was divided. Celebrated as the patron saint of builders and construction workers, he is remembered for his dedication to helping the poor and promoting social justice. His feast day is celebrated on April 5, and he has been canonized by the Catholic Church.
