St. Scholastica

St. Scholastica was a 5th-century nun and the twin sister of St. Benedict, the founder of Western monasticism. She is revered as the patroness of nuns and devoted to prayer, community life, and religious women. According to tradition, she founded a nearby convent to her brother’s monastery, emphasizing prayer, study, and a spiritual lifestyle. Her feast day is celebrated on February 10.
