Squid (marine creature)

A squid is a marine mollusk belonging to the class Cephalopoda, related to octopuses and cuttlefish. It has a streamlined body, large eyes for keen vision, and a mantle cavity that houses its internal organs. Squids are known for their exceptional speed and agility, thanks to a specialized form of jet propulsion created by forcefully expelling water through a siphon. They possess tentacles equipped with suction cups to capture prey like fish and crustaceans.
