Spinosaurus
Spinosaurus was a large, specialized dinosaur that lived around 100 million years ago. It was notable for its enormous sail-like structure on its back, formed by elongated neural spines. It measured up to 50-59 feet long, making it one of the largest carnivores ever. Its elongated snout and conical teeth were well-suited for catching fish, indicating a semi-aquatic lifestyle. Unlike many other theropods, Spinosaurus likely spent much of its time swimming or hunting in water. Its unique adaptations reflect a specialized niche, making it one of the most distinctive and fascinating predators of its time.
