Spier

A spier, or more commonly spelled "spear," is a traditional weapon consisting of a long shaft, often made of wood or metal, with a pointed tip at one end. It is used for hunting or combat, allowing a person to strike from a distance. Spears can be thrown or used for thrusting in close combat.
