Spiegel

A spiegel (German for "mirror") is a reflective surface, typically made of polished metal or glass with a reflective coating, that shows an image of whatever is in front of it. It works by bouncing light rays off its surface to create a reversed image. Mirrors are used in daily life for personal grooming, in optical devices, and in scientific instruments. They can be flat (plain) or curved to magnify or focus images. Essentially, a spiegel helps us see ourselves and our environment more clearly by providing a precise reflection.
