Sphinx of Ejypt

The Great Sphinx of Giza is a monumental stone sculpture in Egypt, depicting a mythical creature with a lion's body and a human head, believed to represent Pharaoh Khafre. Carved from limestone, it stands about 20 meters high and 73 meters long, symbolizing strength and wisdom. Built around 4,500 years ago, the Sphinx serves as a guardian of the nearby pyramids and reflects ancient Egyptian beliefs in divine kingship and protection. Its purpose remains partly mysterious, but it remains one of the world's most iconic archaeological monuments.
