Speedup
Speedup refers to how much faster a task can be completed when improvements or changes are made, such as using better tools or algorithms. It’s calculated by dividing the original time it takes to finish a task by the new, shorter time after improvements. For example, if a process takes 10 hours initially and, after optimization, takes 2 hours, the speedup is 5 times. This measure helps assess the effectiveness of enhancements in efficiency or performance, showing how significantly a task's completion time has improved with the given changes.
