SPECT/CT

SPECT/CT combines two imaging techniques—Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) and Computed Tomography (CT)—into one exam. SPECT uses radioactive tracers to create 3D images of how tissues and organs function, while CT provides detailed pictures of their structure. Together, they offer doctors a comprehensive view of both the anatomy and activity within the body, aiding in accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring of various conditions, such as bone or brain diseases. This integrated approach improves precision and helps guide medical decisions more effectively.
