Species Adaptation

Species adaptation refers to the natural process where living organisms develop changes over time that improve their ability to survive and reproduce in their environment. These changes can be in physical traits, behaviors, or other characteristics. For example, a bird might develop a beak better suited to eating available food sources. Adaptations happen because individuals with favorable traits are more likely to thrive and pass those traits to their offspring. Over many generations, these small changes accumulate, helping the species become better suited to its surroundings. Adaptation is a key way species evolve in response to environmental challenges.
